Commissioning Applied Research and
Evaluation Services
YPF has extensive experience of helping organisations improve their services by carrying out applied research and evaluations. For example we have:
- Evaluated local services – e.g. youth crime prevention
- Carried out needs assessments – e.g. an adolescent
health strategy - Evaluated the effectiveness of local delivery of national
programmes – e.g. the Triple P parenting programme - Trained and supported young peer researchers
- Tested a new approach to alcohol education for young
people - Evaluated innovative ways of supporting young fathers.
We tailor our approach to fit the job. For example: surveys and consultations; telephone and face-to-face interviews; focus groups; case studies; training and supporting young researchers; reviews of national and local policy documents; collating key data.
