Working with Young People
2003-2011: Young People in Focus delivers training for those working with vulnerable young people in a variety of settings and contexts. The emphasis is on promoting emotional wellbeing.
Supported Housing staff training project
2006-2010.
This project created an accredited training programme on promoting young people's health and emotional wellbeing for staff working in supported housing.
Youth Voice: Peer Power
2006-2008. This emotional wellbeing and participation programme worked in four regions in England. It enabled young people to help their peers by passing on experience of how to cope with distress and produced a range of resources.
YouthVoice 2
2002-2005. This project explored the link between youth participation and young people's self-esteem. It operated in three geographical areas and focused on young people at risk of emotional distress.
Wavelength
2002-2004. Practical resources to help workers communicate effectively with young people.
The Someone to Talk to (TALK 2) Project
1999-2002. Accredited training programmes and supporting resources to develop counselling and interpersonal skills.
The Adolescent Mental Health Training Initiative
1996-2001. Department of Health funding in 1996 helped expand our training work in the field of young people's emotional wellbeing.
