Video Messaging

Description:
Video Messaging involves creating films which are used to explore and strengthen family relationships and keep families together whilst the young person is in custody.

At Hindley, six young people were trained how to use still and DVD cameras. They completed a project whereby they made a box of gifts for their families, recorded and sent a personal message to their families. The families were given the facility to return their own message back to the young people in prison.
