We can offer one of the following optional units to complete the award:

- Support vulnerable young people who are experiencing pregnancy or parenthood with Reflective Practice
- Support young people who are vulnerable to neglect,
sexual, emotional or physical abuse
- Promote health and well-being of vulnerable young people
- Support young people who are looked after or are leaving care
This package includes
- two interactive training days covering the main topics of the course
- portfolio building support from the tutor
- face to face and/or telephone assessment interviews with candidates
- registration with ABC awards
The qualification is based on workplace assessment and is similar in that sense to the practical aspects of an NVQ. As well as attending the training days, learners will work on a portfolio during the course which will include witness statements from a senior colleague in relation to practice.
